BlackArch : Arch Linux Based Pen-testing Distro

BlackArch Linux is an Arch-based GNU/Linux distribution for pentesters and security researchers. The BlackArch package repository is compatible with existing Arch installs.

Here are some of BlackArch’s features:

  • - Support for i686 and x86_64 architectures
  • - Over 600 tools (constantly increasing)
  • - Modular package groups
  • - A live ISO with multiple window managers, including dwm, Fluxbox, Openbox, Awesome, wmii, i3, and Spectrwm.
  • - An installer with the ability to build from source.

What Tools are Offered ?
There are hell lot of tools preloaded with this distro you can have a look at them at
http://www.blackarch.org/tools.html

Why It’s better than Kali Linux ?
BlackArch provides more tools than Kali at the moment and is based on ArchLinux which offer latest software in it’s repo unlike Debian/Ubuntu which means that you can Enjoy latest software just by installing it from package manager instead of compiling from source if you need latest version .It also has Windows Managers that are less resource exhaustive than what’s offered in Kali Linux that means you can deploy more tools at same time with less resource going waste on UI but if you want other GUI you can always download them.

Tell me what you think about this in the comments :)
